A Month of Silence & A Customer Service Nightmare 😤
I'm writing this as a warning about my awful online shopping experience. I ordered two pairs of glasses, and while they were quick to take my money, it took them a full month to finally inform me one of my choices was out of stock. It’s impossible to talk to a person; customer service is a joke, you just go round and round with the computer. They were happy to take my money but service has been a joke. I get an email every day for sales, but I can't talk to anyone about my order. This frustration is what drove me to finally get a hold of a live agent.
Customer: It took a month to be told my frames were out of stock. A whole month! Why does it take that long to communicate a simple issue after you’ve already taken my money?
CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about this unacceptable delay. That is not our standard of service, and I understand your frustration completely. Can I please have your order number to investigate this for you right now?
Customer: It's 11-2358. I get sales emails from you every single day, but no one could tell me about my actual order. I had to reorder a replacement pair and I have no idea what's happening with it.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see the notes here and I sincerely apologize for the poor communication. I've located your replacement order and have upgraded it to expedited shipping at no charge. I've also confirmed the item is in stock and being prepared for shipment today.
Customer: That’s the least you could do. Just make sure it actually gets sent out. I'm tired of the automated responses and the runaround.
