A $246 Nightmare: My Order Was Lost and Customer Service Was Just a Bot 🤖💸


I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering ordering from GlassesUSA. My experience has been a complete nightmare, and I feel compelled to share it. GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I want my money back, GlassesUSA. After getting nowhere with their automated system, I felt I had no choice but to leave a public review and try to speak to an actual person about my order, #105081183.

Customer: My order, #105081183, is lost, and your company has $246 of my money. I’ve been told it's "in transit" by a bot for over a month. I want a refund now.

CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the trouble with your order and the lack of clear communication. Let me look that up for you. I see the tracking has not updated. This is completely unacceptable.

Customer: Unacceptable is right. Your automated system is useless. I've filed complaints everywhere just to be heard. I don't want excuses; I want my money back.

CS Rep: You are absolutely right to be upset, and I sincerely apologize. I am bypassing the system and processing a full refund of $246.00 for you immediately. You should see an email confirmation within the hour.

Customer: And how long until I actually see the money? I've been told it takes 7-10 business days, which is ridiculous after all this time.

CS Rep: I have initiated the refund on our end. The 7-10 day timeframe is for the bank's processing, but I can assure you it has been approved and sent from our side as of this conversation.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
