Let me share a cautionary tale about my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it saves you from similar frustration. I'm utterly furious because GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never even received! They have $246.00 of my hard-earned money from an order placed back on February 24th, and the tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. All I get from their automated bot is that it's "in transit," which is absolutely useless. I want my money back! I felt compelled to leave this review and try to reach an actual human at customer service because their lack of response and refusal to refund me is simply unacceptable. STAY AWAY from GlassesUSA – whatever happened to customer service?
Customer: My order #105081183, placed on February 24th, never arrived, and I still haven't received my $246 refund! The tracking has been stuck in Atlanta forever, and your bot just keeps telling me it's "in transit." I need my money back. CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the delay with your order and refund. Let me pull up your order number, #105081183, right now to investigate. Customer: This has been going on for too long. I've spent days trying to get this resolved. Can you tell me exactly when I'll see my $246 returned to my account? CS Rep: I see here that a refund request was indeed initiated on April 1st. Our standard processing time for refunds is 7-10 business days. I understand this isn't ideal, given the circumstances, and I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Customer: So I just have to wait? After all this trouble, and having to file complaints to even get to this point? Can't you expedite it? CS Rep: I will absolutely make a note to escalate this internally and request an expedited processing. You should receive a confirmation email shortly regarding this. Again, my sincerest apologies for the experience.
